Ross turned up at our hotel at exactly the time he said. He was extremely personable, sharing tales of his family as well as being very knowledgeable about his island home. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and appreciated being taken to quieter, less 'touristy' parts of the east of Madeira. He gave us both the wealth of his knowledge along with time to mooch around on our own. We WILL return to Madeira and intend contacting Ross to show us the west of the island. Amazing day spent with Ross! The tour was very relaxing and full of scenic views, with lots of interesting details about Madeira’s culture, history and beautiful places. Ross is a wonderful guide and driver, and genuinely one of the sweetest people you could spend a day exploring the island with. We strongly recommend taking at least one of his tours. We went on a full day tour with Ross today and we had a wonderful time. He’s very nice and personable, and made sure we had an amazing day.
