Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is it always a private tour?

Yes. Our tours are 100% private—just you and your group. We believe in offering a truly personal experience, with no strangers, no rush, and complete flexibility. It’s your day, your way.

What is the maximum capacity?

Our Suzuki Vitara Cabriolet accommodates up to 3 passengers. From January 2026, we also offer tours for up to 4 passengers in our Suzuki Vitara Hybrid, providing the same private and comfortable experience.

If one vehicle is in maintenance, we simply use the best Vitara available on the day — same quality, same exclusivity.

Solo Travellers

Solo travellers are welcome on Full‑Day or Customised Tours only. Half‑day tours are not available for 1 person, as the cost (~€70) does not cover the operational expenses.

Is pick-up and drop-off included?

Yes, pick-up and drop-off are included in Funchal, Caniço, and Câmara de Lobos.
For other areas, additional fees may apply, or the service may not be available due to our base in Funchal and operational costs. Please contact us in advance to confirm.

What payment methods do you accept?

To secure your date, you can complete the full payment by card on our website, or choose a 50% deposit online with the remaining 50% paid in cash at the end of the experience. We also accept bank transfers on request.

Who is your guide?

Every tour is led by Ross, a certified local guide with 10+ years of experience. Tours are available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Do you go off-road?

No, we do not offer off-road experiences. However, we occasionally drive on unpaved or rural paths to reach certain viewpoints or local spots. Our routes combine regional roads and highways, ensuring a safe, scenic, and comfortable journey throughout.

How does the soft-top roof work (Cabriolet)?

Our original soft‑top Cabriolet adapts to the weather and the season:

  • Spring, autumn and winter: we partially open the roof and side windows when conditions allow, keeping you comfortable while still enjoying the views.

  • Summer: the roof is fully opened for the full cabriolet experience — sunshine, fresh air, and open‑top freedom.

  • Rain or unstable weather: the roof stays fully closed for your comfort and safety. In these cases, we may also use the Suzuki Hybrid, which offers the best protection and accessibility.

Is the vehicle accessible?

Our tours use two Suzuki Vitaras — the Hybrid and the Cabriolet. Both are compact and comfortable.

  • We can accommodate 2 passengers when one uses a wheelchair in the Cabriolet. For guests who require easier access, we always prioritise the Suzuki Hybrid.
  • While the vehicles are not fully adapted, we do our best to welcome guests with reduced mobility and can adjust the tour pace when needed.
  • If one vehicle is in maintenance, we simply use the best Vitara available on the day — same comfort, same quality, same experience.

Are your tours suitable for children or elderly guests?

Yes — as long as guests have basic mobility. The Cabriolet (red car) has a higher step, while the Suzuki Hybrid offers the easiest access. We provide a small step ladder when needed, and we always adjust the tour pace to ensure comfort.
