He was extremely personable, sharing tales of his family as well as being very knowledgeable about his island home. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and appreciated being taken to quieter, less 'touristy' parts of the east of Madeira. He gave us both the wealth of his knowledge along with time to mooch around on our own. We WILL return to Madeira and intend contacting Ross to show us the west of the island.
