Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is it always a private tour?
Yes. Our tours are 100% private—just you and your group. We believe in offering a truly personal experience, with no strangers, no rush, and complete flexibility. It’s your day, your way.

What is the maximum capacity?
Our vehicle accommodates up to 3 passengers. This ensures an exclusive, comfortable and personal experience for every guest.

Is pick-up and drop-off included?
Yes, pick-up and drop-off are included in Funchal, Caniço, and Câmara de Lobos.
For other areas, additional fees may apply, or the service may not be available due to our base in Funchal and operational costs. Please contact us in advance to confirm.

What payment methods do you accept?
We offer flexible options: pay securely by card through our website, or in cash at the end of the tour (confirm in advance). You can also book with a 50% deposit online, with the balance due in cash on the day. Bank transfers are also accepted—please contact us for details.

Who is your guide?
All tours are personally led by Ross, a certified local guide with a degree in Tourism and over 10 years of experience. As part of a family business, Ross shares his passion for Madeira by showing you the island’s landscapes, stories, and hidden gems.
We offer guided tours in Portuguese, English, and Spanish—please let us know your preferred language when booking.

Do you go off-road?
No, we do not offer off-road experiences. However, we occasionally drive on unpaved or rural paths to reach certain viewpoints or local spots. Our routes combine regional roads and highways, ensuring a safe, scenic, and comfortable journey throughout.

How does the soft-top roof work?
Our original soft-top cabriolet adapts to the seasons:

  • Spring, autumn, and winter: We partially open the soft-top and side windows, depending on weather conditions, to keep you comfortable while enjoying the views.

  • Summer: The roof is fully opened so you can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air in true cabriolet style.

  • On rainy days or when bad weather is forecast, we keep the roof fully closed, regardless of the season, to ensure your comfort and safety.

Is the vehicle accessible?
Our jeep is unique on the island—a compact, open-top Suzuki Vitara with individual seating for maximum comfort.

  • We can accommodate 2 passengers when one uses a wheelchair

  • As it’s a true jeep, there is some height to step in—but we provide a small step ladder to assist with access

  • While not fully adapted, we do our best to welcome guests with reduced mobility and can adjust the tour pace when needed

Are your tours suitable for children or elderly guests?
Yes, though we recommend that guests have basic mobility due to the step into the vehicle. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to help you assess whether the tour is right for your group.
