Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Madeira 4 Tours, we prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to provide clarity while adhering to European consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU) and ensuring a fair process for all parties.

FULL REFUND

A full refund will be granted in the following situations:

Force Majeure Events: Unforeseen circumstances beyond the customer’s control, such as extreme weather or natural disasters.
Medical Emergencies: will be eligible for a full refund if we are informed at least 24 hours before the scheduled experience.
Cancellations Made 48 Hours in Advance: Bookings canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled experience will be refunded in full.

Refunds will be processed through our payment partner and credited to the original payment method within 15 working days.

PARTIAL REFUND

Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours in Advance: A partial refund will apply. The exact amount retained will be detailed in the booking confirmation.

NON-REFUNDABLE CASES

No-Show Policy: Customers who fail to attend the scheduled experience without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
If a guest chooses to end the tour early, cancel their participation after the tour has started, or does not complete the experience for personal reasons, no full or partial refund will be provided.

APPLICABLE BOOKINGS

For bookings made via third-party platforms such as GetYourGuide, Musement, or Viator, the cancellation and refund policies of those platforms will apply. Please refer to their terms and conditions for further details.
